Cher Apologizes For Lashing Out On Twitter Against Mitt Romney And Conservatives

Singer and music legend Cher let out some steam on Twitter, posting rants on the popular social networking site against presidential hopefully Mitt Romney and other conservatives.
Cher began her rant with a tweet directed at Mitt Romney, saying, “If ROMNEY gets elected I don’t know if I can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist
Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters.”

The singer eventually deleted the tweet, but it was followed of a series of other angry posts as many of her Twitter followers responded. Some agreed with her opinion, while others lashed back.

Cher tweeted back to one dissenting fan, “TOO HARSH? That’s me Holding BACK! They care nothing about the POOR The OLD The SICK The HUNGRY CHILDREN & People striving 4 a Better LIFE ! –”

Cher posted many of the nasty messages she received in response to this political thread as well as her replies. When one follower observed that she might have lost half of her fans due to the tirade, Cher only said, “Thank God I Got the half that thinks!”

She added, “God its hysterical what crawls out of woodwork if someone speaks their mind! Obviously I don’t care what u think so knock yourselves out”

The next day though, the singer attempted to make amends by retracting some of her released emotions. She posted, “Hi Lovelies! hope U R having GREAT Day or Nite! Sorry I Let The Dogs Out, But I Should Have Remembered 1must watch what They Say These Days! … Feelings r 1 thing but no right 2 let mean spirit run free! Anger in heart made me turn back on Luv. … guess im never 2old 2 get ass whipping!mouth has been getting me in trouble all my life! Im not sorry 4feelings,but i was not kind.”

Cher clarified, “Im NOT Sorry 4 Speaking My Mind Ever! Its HOW I did it! I was a Hater!”
