WordPress’ latest downloadable app for the Android, the WordPress 2.1, brings some refreshing surprises for users.
The latest version now comes with an auto-save feature. This saves your content in the event that your phone inadvertently shuts down or if your app is closed by accident.
The 2.1 edition also gives users the ability to edit their comments. By using a new “edit” button, users have access to fields that will allow them to change their name, email, status, comment text and even their URL. Changes can be made as quickly and effortlessly as if the individual were on the actual WordPress site.
Not only have there been additions, but improvements, as well. The previous WordPress edition would only allow you to link to images within posts that were full-size. Now, all you have to do is go under the “Settings” menu and you can easily set the width of the images that you wish to link from within the app.
Improvements have also been made to the WordPress.com reader, too. Changing between posts is now much easier. Plus, you can share posts to other apps or even comment on posts.
The Android WordPress 2.1 app is currently available for free by either going to the Amazon Appstore, Google Play or the Nook’s app store.
